ADI Industry Achievement Award
It’s not often, in this industry, that recognition is given to those that deserve it, and there are many who do. It is usually the case that the majority of those whose contribution to the industry goes above and beyond the normal ‘line of duty’ don’t shout about it from the tree-tops. In fact, they probably shy away from any kind of exposure or appreciation; this has certainly been true of the winners of the ADI Industry Achievement Award thus far. They are the unsung heroes of our industry, who unselfishly give their time and energy to make a positive difference to the careers and lives of others.
The ADI Industry Achievement Award was set-up back in 2004, and first awarded in 2005, as a way of honouring personal achievement as well as outstanding contribution to the industry. Nominations are open to all and nominees can be anyone connected to the driver training industry. You don’t have to belong to an association, driving school or dodgy handshake club to be put up for an award, and although ADI is in the title, you don’t have to be one of those either. From Road Safety campaigners to Police Officers and Fleet Trainers to DSA Examiners, all are eligible for nomination.
To-date it is the only award of its kind, in an industry that has so many worthy recipients. Ideas4ADIs is proud to sponsor the award, this year along with ADBOK.com, for the third year running and we look forward to the presentation of The ADI Industry Achievement Award 2010.
