Novus BlackVue GPS and Non GPS
The Novus BlackVue is the ideal single camera unit for ADIs. It records audio and video and is so compact you’ll forget it’s even there. Use it to record full lessons, independent driving sessions, fleet drivers at work and ADI training.
The Novus BlackVue is fixed to the windscreen, near the rear view mirror, using a quick release mount. The unique mount allows the camera to be rotated 360 degrees allowing you to record the road ahead or the vehicle interior.
Some customers place a second Novus Blackvue in the rear window to record behind the vehicle (usually the GPS unit to the front), for both front and rear video capture. Power is taken from a standard power socket 12/24 volts, or the unit can be hard wired in to fully protect your vehicle when its unattended.
The Novus BlackVue comes with software that will allows you to playback the video and audio, Google location and the recorded G-force. You can also save the video to an AVI file for playback on other computers, or create a simple report. Support for MP4 file format to play recording on portable media device like smart phones.
Both Novus BlackVue cameras have a video out, so you can attach them to a monitor to see the image from the camera, one example is to connect the rear camera to a small monitor and use it as a rear view/reversing camera.
