Roof Box Style 2

This traditional shaped roof sign has the L on one end, allowing more space for graphic text, making your school name and number more noticeable.

Our roof signs are made to the highest standard utilising top quality components and materials. They are made from 5mm Acrylic Capped ABS which have been UV treated to prevent fading from the sun, resulting in them lasting much longer than the average plastic roof sign. In fact, they are guaranteed to stay white for a minimum of 3 years.

The five magnets used, most others have 2 or 3 magnets, are rubberised and have been specifically designed for roof signs: this increases and spreads the surface area which adheres to the roof of the vehicle. They are bolted to the sign and have been tested to withstand speeds of up to 100mph. We also supply a protective rubber seal that fits around the base of the roof sign ensuring there is no damage to the vehicle and
prevents under-current which might lift the roof sign off. This means you don’t need to apply a protective film on your roof, which can cause variations in the paintwork colour when removed.

Manufactured with a curve to the base that fits perfectly to almost
any car.

Benefits include:

  • 3 Year stay white guarantee*
  • Rubberised magnetic feet
  • Tested off road up to speeds of 100mph
  • 5-7 year vinyl used when graphics supplied

*against fading and yellowing from sunlight

PLEASE NOTE - This sign is not suitable for the newer compact cars including: new shaped Corsa, Ford KA, BMW Mini, Nissan Micra, VW Beetle, Fiat 500, Mazda 2 and similar compact cars with greater roof curvature. For these models we recommend the Aero D Roof Sign.

Using your Roof Sign:

Check the rubber trim is secularly fitted around the edges of the sign.

Always make sure the vehicle's roof and the magnetic feet are clean before placing the sign onto your roof.

The magnets used are rubberised and have been specifically designed for roof boxes. They are bolted to the sign and can withstand speeds of up to 100mph.

But we would advise caution using the signs in very high winds or extreme temperatures, where the magnetic rubber feet can be effected by Thermal shock.

Thermal shock occurs when a thermal gradient causes different parts of an object to expand by different amounts. This could potentially weaken the adhesion between the rubber magnets and the metal plate they are glued to. Therefore we would recommend regular checks of the magnetic feet.
